Design Services that Cultivate a Culture of Collaboration
Interior design for Black Hills architects, contractors, business owners, and homeowners + virtual design consultation and rendering services
We consider ourselves part of your team. We listen carefully and help you navigate the wide range of decisions that need to be made prior to and during construction.
“For any project that requires an interior designer, I will only use Amanda. I never have to worry when working with her. She is extremely detail orientated, has a wonderful work ethic and always brings valuable information because of her understanding of materials and their uses.”
- Kim Schmidt, Upper Deck Architects
“We have found her expertise to be invaluable in so many ways. It seems she has a Midas Touch - everything she does is extremely organized, communicated and turns out amazing.”
- Daryl Reinicke, Westhills Village Retirement Community
Our Design Process
Dream it.
First, we meet to listen to your needs, preferences, current inefficiencies, and priorities for your new space and “game plan” and how ACW Design can best serve you. Following the meeting, a detailed proposal is provided outlining tasks, fee, schedule, and deliverables.
Design it.
We produce drawings, visuals, and select material samples for the presentation. We walk you through, room by room, discussing the design details while making any adjustments needed. From faucets to lighting to tile to cabinet hardware - we organize every detail so when construction starts - its clear!
Build it.
After delivering the design package to the contractor, we are involved in material ordering and coordination with the contractor and subcontractors as questions come up. We often act as an owner's representative throughout the construction process and lessen the demand on our clients.
“We have had the pleasure of working with Amanda on projects that have led us to winning craftsmanship awards and a large reason for winning is a direct result of her designs. She has a strong knowledge of construction which allows us to work well as a team with our superintendents and subcontractors to problem solve situations that arise.”
— Bob Conway, RCS Construction
