Typical Design Tasks
Our primary services include space planning and finish specifications. We develop construction documents including floor plans, ceiling plans, interior elevations, casework, floor and wall finish plans, wall protection and signage, as well as image/branding collaboration and 3D renderings.
We provide these services as a lump sum or hourly contract, depending upon the size and complexity of your project. Our projects are wide ranging, from medical facilities to offices to homes.
Architectural Consultant
Professional design services for architecture firms include the “Typical Interior Design Tasks” listed above. We provide our interior drawings as a package to insert into the architectural set or redline finish sheets to be integrated into your model. We develop and merge specifications and assist the architect on all elements of design and project management.
Your design team will be supported from start to finish with respect, professionalism, and kindness. Our wide range of experience allows us to be a supportive partner to your process without overstepping your vision. We believe in an integrated design, where the exterior and interior connect and complement in a seamless way.
Contractor Consultant
When an architectural stamp is not required, we offer contractors and owners an option for development of remodel drawings, finish selections, and construction support. We work in a 3D modeling program that allows us to develop plans, elevations, and 3D views that help the client to visualize before demo starts. We work closely with the contractor to select finishes that keep the project on time and on budget. And we handle the communication related to interiors with the owner and supply a detailed package that is agreed upon by all parties … Essentially, we streamline the communication to make your job a little easier.

Business Owner Consultant
Our specialty is making sure your needs will be heard and integrated, communicated to all parties, and supported. Whether it’s making a call to the City, recommending an architect or a contractor, or taking on the full design of a remodel with tasks mentioned above.
We also make suggestions for putting money into the aspects of your project that will have the greatest impact and will result in gains for your company.
During construction, we help with phasing the project in a way that allows you to stay productive. We handle contractor questions, requests, and review pay applications to help lighten your to-do list. We are looking out for you, from start to finish. Amanda, our lead designer, pays special attention to creating profitability for your company by drawing people in, making their experience positive, and creating efficiencies in the way your space functions.
Home Owner Consultant
Home building can be an overwhelming process and our goal is to make sure you enjoy every step! Our expertise is communicating with contractors, installers, architects, and owners to be certain everyone is on the same page.
You get an advocate and an intermediary when we work together. There are so many little details, from door hinges to outlet locations to window and cabinet heights. And we handle it all.
As we narrow down options, present everything to you in manageable sections, and relay all the details to the contractor, you have more time soak up the happy moments of building your dream home.

Our Design Process
Dream it.
First, we meet to listen to your needs, preferences, current inefficiencies, and priorities for your new space and “game plan” and how ACW Design can best serve you. Following the meeting, a detailed proposal is provided outlining tasks, fee, schedule, and deliverables.
Design it.
We produce drawings, visuals, and select material samples for the presentation. We walk you through, room by room, discussing the design details while making any adjustments needed. From faucets to lighting to tile to cabinet hardware - we organize every detail so when construction starts - its clear!
Build it.
After delivering the design package to the contractor, we are involved in material ordering and coordination with the contractor and subcontractors as questions come up. We often act as an owner's representative throughout the construction process and lessen the demand on our clients.
